in Italy, in order to guarantee a 100% italian origin. The aim of the Cooperative
is to have always the highest quality and the best product for its customers,
that are both processing industry, retails or final consumer.

Ready to face all markets, Prosus is able to offer all product ranges, from anatomical cuts for wholesalers and processing industry - both Italian and foreign - to fresh hams for the main seasoners; from the second processing (vacuum and carton packed), to the products of III and IV processing for large retailers, in particular with its own brand line 'Le Buone Terre'

The availability of over 14,000 hectares of land cultivated directly by the breeders members of the Cooperative allows the production of the noble cereals that are an integral part of the feeding of the pigs, as well as guaranteeing the traceability of the feeds, and closing the circle of the complete product supply chain from the field to the consumer's plate.

PRO SUS has set its quality system on food hygiene and safety, occupational health and safety and environmental sustainability. In addition to the self-control plan based on the application of the H.A.C.C.P system (hygiene and health checks required by law), ProSus has chosen to voluntarily reinforce what has been applied by this system, implementing the UNI EN ISO 22000 quality and food safety certifications: 2005 and FSSC 22000 (which also include controls for biosafety / bio-surveillance / bio-terrorism).
